March Full Moon Tips: Worm Moon

It felt like spring yesterday... of course, now we're back to cold and I'm wishing for that 70 degree weather again. I've been sick for the better part of a week, sick being a relative term, of course. I'm mainly tired, because I have kept myself up nights coughing. Doctors say it's allergy/sinus related so I'm going to be working on a video about that soon too. Tonight is the March full moon, called the Worm moon. Many believe that it's called the Worm moon because earthworms are starting to make an appearance. I'm guessing that's not inaccurate because one of my dogs was rubbing on the ground earlier this morning! This is the final full moon of the winter season, starting over the cycle of the  year. Our next full moon will be fully in the spring season! This is definitely a time for transformation and change. Everyone is going to feel the effects, but here are the basics by sign. After that, some ritual ideas!

First of March: Ritual Ideas and Tips for the Month

The third month of the year has arrived and it sure seems like time is flying by. March is the month where spring blooms, new life awakes from its slumber, and growth is on the horizon everyday. This month was named for Mars, the Roman god of war, but before he was a war god, he was known for fertility and agriculture. This is fitting, because March is generally the time most of us really start focusing on the herbs, vegetables, and fruits we're going to have in our gardens this year. Beware the Ides of March, however... while we're all anticipating warmer weather and the Spring Equinox [Ostara] on the 20th, as well Saint Patrick's day, March 15th is the day that reminds us to watch our backs for betrayal. This is the day that Julius Caesar was assassinated, and has so come to be known for bad omens and misfortune. We'll get into March 7th's full Worm [Storm] moon in a later post, but for now, here are some rituals and tips for you to welcome in March, spring, and

February Tips and Tricks - Snow Moon ritual

Hello friends! Today is the full Snow Moon, which has a lovely meaning aside from the cold imagery the name invokes. The Snow Moon is a time to start a cycle of self-care and analyzing personal relationships. This month, some friendships and even romantic relationships will be under a microscope - and if the connection is strong and true, it will endure. However, if there is a weak, superficial, or negative connection, this month may be the time to break away. I suggest definitely taking some time to do introspection, either through meditation or journaling, to see if you're truly happy with all the relationships in your life. For the full moon, I always charge my crystals. The full moon energy (when it's not a chaotic energy) is wonderful for the work we do. I simply take the crystals I use the most (and some I know I'll be using in the future), and place them in a bowl or box and take them outside to rest under the full moon's light until morning. For me, I'm up b

Welcome In.

Hello, friends. My name is Kimmy, and I'm a witch. Kitchen witch, green witch, eclectic witch... whatever title you think fits, is what I am. I am also a solitary practitioner, and I've never belonged to a coven. I've been a witch, a Pagan to be specific, for over 25 years and I'm excited/nervous to bring what knowledge I have to the internet. As a witch, I am forever practicing and will never have all the answers, but seek knowledge and growth daily. The world has grown smaller when it comes to learning, since the days I began walking my path. There is literally SO MUCH information at our fingertips these days. I'm writing this, to begin with, for the friends I have that are on their own similar paths, but maybe are just starting out, are in the broom closet, and don't know where to go to get solid info. Here I am.  I am a Certified Crystal & Chakra healer, and most people know that I do indeed sell crystals and metaphysical supplies. 2023 is the year of th
